Requirements
- Bitstreams Manager v3.0 license
- Bitstreams Server release v3.1.0 v3.0.1 v3.0.0
- Basic support only for Bitstreams Server v3.0.x
- Platform: AMD/x86 (ARM support is available, but testing was limited)
New Features and Improvements
- Synchronize shared images, templates, and secrets between Manager and enrolled Bitstreams servers, with per-server sync status and manual resync
- Store the Manager HTTPS certificate and key under /var/bitstreams3/certs so they survive upgrades; an existing certificate is migrated once and a user-supplied certificate is never overwritten
- Bake service configuration into the images and drive per-site values through environment variables or docker cp, removing config bind-mounts
- Support selecting a location on the Dashboard and Encoding pages to view aggregated resources, sessions, and issues from its connected servers and sub-locations
- Remove Quick Links section from Dashboard to provide more space for valuable dashboard information
- Improve security for GUI via package updates

- Add Servers page to enroll Bitstreams servers with Manager and manage their connections (renew enrollment certificates or revoke enrollment)
- Select a target Bitstreams server from the header to manage its dashboard, streaming sessions, and templates through Manager
- Add location hierarchy to organize Bitstreams servers:
- Create nested locations (e.g. region/site)
- Filter the Servers list and header navigation by location
- Connected Bitstreams servers are read-only locally; manage sessions and configuration through Manager
