Introduction

The Bitstreams Manager is designed to be a single user inteface to control multiple Bitstreams instances.

Bitstreams instances can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud and still controlled by Bitstreams. A connection is estiabled using mTLS to create security connection. The connection is estiabled from the Bitstreams instance to the Bitstreams Manager using HTTPs protocol. This allows the two-way communication to be conducted over HTTPs protocol. The only requirement for the connection to be estiabled, is the Bitstreams instance has acces to HTTPs port on the Bitstreams Manager.
