Dektec Setup

The Dektec drivers need to be installed on the host system, not the docker containers that Bitstreams services run on.
To setup Dektec cards to work with Bitstreams the Dektec drivers need to be installed.

Install DKMS:
sudo apt updatesudo apt install dkms build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r) -
Download Dektec's SDK from their support site on to the system. Locate the section named “DekTec SDKs for Linux”. Select the download identified as “LinuxSDK” or “DTAPI – C++ API for all DTA, DTU, DTE devices”.

Decompress the SDK package
tar xvf LinuxSDK_v*.tar.gz -
To install the Dektec device drivers into the DKMS build system, use the following command:
sudo LinuxSDK/Drivers/Install -
Reboot the server

Verify the drivers have been installed
sudo dmesg |grep DtPcieBelow is an example output, verfiy that the driver has been loaded successfully.

Check
modinfoforDtPciekernal modules using:sudo modinfo DtPcieBelow is an example output:

Supported Dektec Cards
The following Dektec Cards have been validated with Bitstreams and are tested with each Bitstreams release. Other cards may work with the current release but they may no longer work with future release. Use at your discretion.
