Create a Pull Stream (RTSP Input)

Configure Input

1. Select the "Pull Streaming" option in the Bitstreams Console, located on the left hand side.

   

2. The Pull Streaming interface is now shown, click the blue Create New Task button.

   

3. The next window will allow configuring a pull stream session.

   

   1. Enter the input RTSP(s) URL into the Input URL box.
   Adding Authentication

   When a username and password is required to access the stream, these parameters can be included in the URL address

   rtsp://[username]:[password]@10.0.128.213:554/stream0

   Parameter Details

   • [username]: The required username for the source.
   • [password]: The required password for the source.

   2. Create a name for the stream, "Example" was used here.

   3. Select a Template for the output stream. The Default-H.265 template was used here.

   4. Select an Output Format to continue:

DASH or HLS Output
